Fortunino Matania (1881-1963) likewise understood as Chevalier Fortunino Matania, was an Italian illustrator best known for his comprehensive and realistic representations of World War I trench war and historic subjects. “The public required it,” he as soon as stated, showing the general public rate of interest in his work. Birthed in 1881 in Naples, Italy, Matania relocated to London, England, where he developed his job.
