Fortunino Matania (1881-1963) likewise understood as Chevalier Fortunino Matania, was an Italian illustrator best known for his comprehensive and realistic representations of World War I trench war and historic subjects. “The public required it,” he as soon as stated, showing the general public rate of interest in his work.
