It allows you to add all different kinds of proteins, vegetables, fruits and others. If you are too high or too low on a certain item, you can adjust the recipe. Freeze dried dog food is expensive and does not always have all natural ingredients in it. If you freeze dry your own dog food recipe, you can add less or take away more in your recipe to accommodate your dog’s needs. For those of you that are not familiar with the Harvestright Freeze dryer, it’s a home free dryer that allows you to preserve foods for 20+ years.
