I closed my repair service store in June 2024 for several factors. The pattern of unrepairable tech that was costing my client even more than the tool deserved in repair work, and Microsoft’s news that Windows 10 was no longer going to be sustained on “older” tools. Rather than taking care of devices 1 by 1 that were simply mosting likely to damage once again, I had the possibility to make a larger effect on this world by attempting to flood the market with utilized, business grade computer systems that are actually repairable. Which’s exactly how I wound up in a warehouse over an electronic devices recycler, solitarily reconditioning numerous laptops on a monthly basis trying to maintain them from the e-waste landfill.
