Travis Kelce is defending one of his viral moments from this weekend – chugging a beer on camera at the New York Knicks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game.
The Wednesday (May 27) episode of the “New Heights” podcast saw the Kansas City Chiefs superstar reflecting on the moment with his brother Jason Kelce.
What did they say about the beer chug?
“You f—ing classless. You’re a role model, Travis!” Jason said to his brother. “You cannot be out there chugging beers in public!”
Travis responded, “It was a classy chug, Jason! I didn’t spill one drop. I didn’t crush the can. I’m on the hardwood floor at an NBA game. It could have got messy. It was a smooth, classy chug to get the people going.”
“We’re doing f—ing 10 points, trying to get some type of energy going in the building,” Travis added.
Jason then said, “It was an elegant chug. It wasn’t too much energy. It was just the right amount and it was smooth. Just like everything you do. You are a smooth athlete. Not even touching the lips, no form of panic. You didn’t even panic when the foam started coming out. You knew there was a chance it was gonna get a little a little messy. Pinkie was up!”
