There’s some news about Prince George and his schooling.
The 12-year-old heir to the UK throne will be attending Eton College in the new school year.
The Palace confirmed the Prince George schooling news in a new statement
“Kensington Palace can confirm that Prince George will attend Eton College from this September,” a palace representative told NBC News.
Prince George’s dad and uncle attended Eton as well
If you don’t know, the young Prince‘s family is no stranger to the prestigious school. His dad, Prince William, attended the school, and his uncle, Prince Harry, did as well. It is an all boys school. Prince William was actually the first in his family to attend the prestigious institution. His father, King Charles, attended a school called Gordonstoun in Scotland.
It’s located close to Windsor Castle and costs £63,000 a year to attend. This amounts to about $85,000.
