VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Levi has cystic fibrosis. When Ashley and Levi created their little home, nothing was optional. Their 34-foot Moveable Roots develop in Florida is a home they intend to live in for the rest of their lives, and at around $190,000 all-in, it is built exactly for that.

Ashley and Levi sold their five-bedroom duplex up north in late 2021, invested a year in a 600 square foot mobile home while this home was being built, and took delivery in September 2022. They created the exterior themselves: a hand-cut sheet steel wave pattern they call the tiny wave. They have no plans to leave the little life.

At the time of the build, Ashley and Levi had the biggest fridge Moveable Roots had actually ever installed in a small home on wheels. Flipped top cabinets, a complete apartment-size dishwasher, a convection microwave, and a concealed lift-up action that exposes pots and frying pans storage space all sustain a house that bulk-shops and eats takeout more than it cooks.

The living space is where Ashley and Levi invest 75 percent of their time. Fifteen 12-volt electrical outlets wired off a battery and a solar panel maintain the home running with Florida hurricanes.

The main flooring bedroom was developed to expand with them. Oxygen tubing goes through the bedroom wall surface up right into the loft space, where the concentrator lives and its warmth remains out of the resting location. All Levi has to do is turn a switch. A RV queen bed with lift-up storage, two closets, and a display screen cabinet for Ashley’s personal things make the room complete without thrown away room.

The shower room is big by little home requirements: a piled washing machine and clothes dryer, a walk-in shower built big enough to fit a stool down the roadway, a warmed and lighted mirror, and a surprise cat litter cupboard with an integrated follower for adverse stress. You will certainly never smell it.

The loft space shops the oxygen concentrator and is becoming Ashley’s future office, built around a coffee table Levi broke down and rebuilt as a workdesk, with a footwell cut in so circulation stays comfortable.

The deck is 16 by 9.5 feet, covered, screened with a zipper web, and developed by Levi to fold level for evacuation in advance of a major hurricane. The home evaluates 25,000 extra pounds and rests on four corner supports set four feet right into the ground. They rode out 2 group twos right here.

HIS ADVICE.
” I could get weary crossing a larger home, but in this little home I can go from space to space and as I get older and using oxygen regularly, I can conveniently keep it connected and simply cross your house. I don’t require to bring an oxygen storage tank or a little hip compressor or anything like that.”.
