The Technology Acceptance Model helps us to understand why technology is adopted. TAM, as it is better known, asserts that if a user perceives a technology to be easy to use and they perceive it to be useful for their needs, they will be more likely to use the technology. This would lead to their ‘actual’ use of the technology.
