Andy Warhol(1928-1987)was a leading number in the Pop Art movement. His silkscreens of cultural and consumer symbols– including Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Campbell’s Soup Cans, and Brillo Boxes– would certainly make him one of the most famous artists of his generation.
