RECIPE:
Level: Easy
Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 4 – 6 servings
Ingredients:
• 2 Big Chicken Thighs
Preparation Instructions:
• Clean the chicken thighs
• Dry the chicken thighs with paper towels
• Debone the chicken thighs. Note, we recommend you save the chicken bones to make stock for another delicious and healthy meal for your furry baby. We plan to make this video soon.
Cooking Instructions:
• Set the oven to Broil (550 degrees normally)
• Place the chicken thighs in the glass cooking container, arrange the meat side up and the skin down.
• Place the chicken thighs in the oven for 8 – 10 minutes on the meat side (note, if you have smaller chicken thighs, the cooking time will be less). Flip the chicken thighs and cook the other side for an additional 6 – 8 minutes in the oven (note, if you have smaller chicken thighs, the cooking time will be less).
• Remove the chicken thighs from the oven and allow them to cool down before slicing and serving.
Storing Instructions (for a small dog):
• Slice the chicken thighs into 2 – 3 portions (note, depends on your dog weight/ breed or veterinarian recommended portion size for your dog, please refer to the dog feeding calculator for answers)
• Store each chicken thigh portion in a zip-lock bag or other freezer safe container and place it in the freezer.
• Storing the food in the freezer will keep the food fresh and not change the taste.
Serving Instruction (for a small dog portion):
• Take the chicken thigh portion from the freezer and warm it up in the microwave for about 20 – 25 seconds (depends your microwave)
• To serve, cut into small pieces, and dish out to your furry baby’s bowl.
• Enjoy!
