The Harvard Chan School community and guests are welcomed to go to the 2025 Elisabeth B. Weintz Humanitarian Award Lecture and Ceremony. This year’s honoree is Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, that is being acknowledged for his remarkable contributions to humanitarian leadership on the international phase. Throughout his job, Dr. Tedros has promoted public health and wellness by heading worldwide efforts versus HIV/AIDS, jungle fever, and maternal and child death, and by routing durable responses to crises such as Ebola, COVID-19, and mpox. Join us in commemorating his enduring impact on international health and altruistic action.
