ONE LOVELY DRAWING, part 79

In 1966, The Cartoonist Cookbook published a drawing and dish from each of 45 prominent cartoon artists.

Guide reminds us about the snappy draftsmanship on the comics pages in those days.For instance, the gifted Leonard Starr added this drawing of his other half trying to fool him into consuming tuna fish, which he ‘d informed her he despised:
