Stephen Colbert is authorizing off ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’ with shock guest stars and an expanded, hour-and-a-half-long insulation. Byron Allen’s long-running syndicated collection, ‘Comics Unleashed,’ is readied to take over the ‘Late Show’s time slot on CBS, beginning on Friday, May 22. Allen tells ET’s Kevin Frazier, he and Colbert went to breakfast together and really linked.
