For 25 years, an average New Jersey train terminal parking area has held a phenomenal pointer of the lives shed on 9/11. Middletown Township lost 37 residents that day– the largest death from any kind of area outside the five boroughs– and the cars and trucks they left came to be a haunting symbol of those that never got home. Now, a memorial yard beside the terminal keeps their memories active, with a monument and photograph honoring each of the 37 sufferers. Twenty-five years later on, the community remains to bear in mind individuals that left for work that morning and never returned.
